At JF&CS, we make miracles happen. We do this every day in countless ways. But we can only do it with your support. Making a difference in the lives of others is much easier than you might think. Here are some ways that your donation can directly impact the lives of those right here in our own community.

$50 - Pays for a continuing adult education class for one CHAI (Community Housing for Adult Independence) resident.

$75 - Helps offset the cost of an English tutor to help increase kindergarten readiness for children from the former Soviet Union.

$100 - Buys food certificates for one month for a family to get fresh fruits and vegetables.

$250 - Supplies a homebound elderly widow with emergency fuel assistance.

$500 - Generates 20 hours of home care for a cancer patient who can no longer take care of him/herself in his/her own home.

$1,000 - Sponsors one year of trained mentorship and support to a new mom through our award-winning Visiting Moms program.

$5,000 - Creates a weekly drop-in bereavement group for one year to help those dealing with the loss of a loved one.

$10,000 - Sends four children to day camp, alleviating day care costs for families who are clients of the Center for Family Assistance.

As you can see, your donation will make a direct impact on the lives of individuals struggling with the demands of everyday life throughout Greater Boston. We need your support to continue offering high quality, compassionate programs and services.

WAYS OF GIVING -
In addition to sponsoring any of the programs listed, we also offer the opportunity for:

• Tribute Donations can be made in honor or memory of a colleague, friend or family member or to celebrate special occasions such as anniversaries, bar or bat mitzvahs, birthdays, graduations or weddings.
• The 1864 Society, our planned giving program, is designed to acknowledge those donors who include JF&CS in their estate plans.
• Securities, closely held stock, life insurance, retirement and other assets can also be used to help support the work we do on behalf of those in need.
• Car Donation
  Through our car donation service, you have the opportunity to donate your car and allow JF&CS of Greater Boston to receive the proceeds. It is fast and easy, all you need is access to the vin number and title of the car, and in 5 minutes the process is complete!  Simply call (866) 557-5327 and talk to our partners at Charitable Auto Resources. They will take you through the process and allow you to choose which organization you would like the money to go to.  Charitable Auto Resources also handles the pick up of the car for you.
