The traditions and child rearing approaches that may have worked for generations past no longer work in today’s world of fast–paced change and influences of the popular culture. Generic parenting books and workshops fail to take into consideration each family’s unique situation.

The JF&CS Center for Early Relationship Support offers Parent Coaching to support you and help you become the parent you want to be. Our coaches work with you collaboratively, individualizing each meeting to discover your own best response to the challenges of parenting. Our approach empowers you, the parent, with strategies, practical information, and tools to help you navigate your experience of parenting young children.

By receiving ongoing support and resources, you will become empowered to create the family you envision in a fun and relaxed environment. Together, we create real responses to parenting dilemmas that will reduce frustration and strengthen your family.

Common parenting challenges that we address:

Setting limits and boundaries
Parenting as a team
Establishing routines
Developmental issues
Sibling relationships
Managing power struggles
Modeling self control
Taking care of yourself so you can take care of your children
Putting FUN back into your home

We offer office, in-home, and phone consultations. Coaching sessions are 60 minutes and are customized to meet your family’s needs. They are followed by a brief written summary with follow-up sessions and/or telephone conversations as determined. Each family we work with is unique. Sometimes a single session is sufficient; many parents choose continued support as needed.

Pricing:

$100 single phone session
$150 single in-home session
Multiple packages are available
