Family & Community Services offers a comprehensive group of programs designed to strengthen families and support individuals.

Adoption Resources
Offers pre-adoption consultation, home studies, domestic and international placements, educational workshops, clinical services, and community outreach.

Bet Tzedek (Legal Services)
Provides free advocacy, legal information, and referrals to private attorneys. Cases are accepted for a range of issues including housing, consumer law, immigration, government benefits, individual rights, and probate family law.

Center for Early Relationship Support®
Promotes the healthy development of families at the earliest stages.

Center For Family Assistance
Offers programs and services that meet the basic needs of individuals and families for food, housing, clothing, and access to medical care and legal representation.

Family Table
Provides emergency and monthly Kosher food, personal hygiene, holiday and ritual items for Jewish families, and also helps other low-income families, isolated seniors, and Waltham residents with monthly or emergency groceries.

Family Mental Health
Provides assessment and treatment by a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists for a range of emotional problems.

Interfaith Connections
Reaches out to interfaith couples and their families to address the unique challenges that arise from differences in faith and traditions.

Jewish Healing Connections
Provides outreach and connection to Judaism and the Jewish community to individuals and their families who are ill, isolated, bereaved, or lack access to Jewish supports.

Journey to Safety (formerly Kol Isha) - Domestic Abuse Program
Journey to Safety provides culturally competent and religiously sensitive services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, with specialized services for the Jewish community and the Russian-speaking community.

New American Services
Assists refugees in the initial adjustment to resettling in America. Provides specialized bilingual services including citizenship assistance, outreach to Russian adolescents, and support for frail elders and single parent families.

Nutrition Services
Provides expert direct service, training, and consultation that focus on improving nutritional health for all.
