Feeding Support
Feeding a baby is more than a physical relationship; it is also an emotional one and is interconnected with a woman's entire postpartum experience. Each woman needs to make a feeding choice based on what she knows about herself, her baby, and her own unique circumstances.
Feeding Support Groups
Breastfeeding mothers need the support of a community, skilled helpers, and other women. The weekly support groups provide a space for women to come together to gain support around feeding issues and to share information and resources. The support groups are led by an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Please check our support group list for information about dates, times, and locations of groups. In addition to the Breastfeeding Support Groups, an IBCLC is available to visit the New Mothers Support Groups to answer questions and share information and resources.
